A/N: I wrote this like 4-5 years ago so it's kind of lame but hopefully some of ya'll will still find it cute. I have not edited or changed it. A/N: This is a repost from my original blog.

Junhong tapped his foot repeatedly at a rapid pace against the tiled floor. He looked up at the clock on the wall to check the time again. He’s been waiting for twenty minutes already and still no news.

The boy sat back in his chair and adjusted the mask on his face before shoving his hands into his pockets. He needed a way to distract his thoughts. So instead of thinking about the painful possibilities, he focused on the people in the waiting area with him.

Most were older, elderly even, calmly reading the magazines that were left on the small coffee table in the center. There was a mother and her two children. She was talking excitedly on her phone with another person while her children played a game. There was only one other person in the room that Junhong thought would be around his age, but they were too immersed in texting on their phone to notice anything else around them.

Junhong sighed in relief knowing that he wasn’t surrounded by fans. He had too much on his mind to worry about signing autographs and taking pictures. Still, out of habit, he reached up and pulled his hat down to help cover his face completely.

"Choi?“

The boy looked up and saw the receptionist waving him over. He got up quickly and walked to the desk window. "Is he alright?”

The woman nodded and pointed down the adjacent hall to his left. “If you go to exam room 2, you can see him. The doctor is in the room with him.” She pulled a piece of paper from a nearby folder and handed it to him through the window. “Take this with you. She’ll fill it out.”

Junhong bowed and bid his thanks. He hurriedly made his way down the hall, following the receptionist’s directions, and easily found room 2. The door was slightly open, and he heard a woman’s voice from inside.

He peeked inside and saw you petting Mochi lovingly. The first thing he noticed about you was your white doctor’s coat. It was open, allowing everyone to see your attire that consisted of a pastel-colored blouse and black dress pants. Your heels made you taller than you truly were, but he knew he probably still towered over you.

He watched as you cooed at his dog, fluffing Mochi’s hair as you talked cutely to him. Junhong cleared his throat and knocked lightly on the door.

You looked up, your smile genuine as you greeted him with a bow. He returned the gesture and couldn’t help but notice your bright smile. He found it beautiful.

"Mochi is all better now,“ you told him. You continued petting the little furball as you explained. "Poor thing just had an upset stomach.”

Junhong got closer to the table his dog sat on. Mochi looked up at him excitedly, happy to see his friend. The boy picked the pomeranian up and pulled his mask down.

"Do you know how?“ he asked you.

You pushed your hands into your coat pockets and shook your head gently. "Luckily it wasn’t anything serious. He probably just ate something that didn’t agree with him. We gave him a bit of medicine to help clear anything out of his system, so he should be back to normal in no time.”

You noticed the paper that Junhong set down on the table. As the boy reunited with his partner, you took the form and filled it out. He saw you writing things down, and he spotted that you wrote his name.

You looked back up at him and motioned for him to follow you out. As you walked down the hall back to the front area, you finished filling out the form on your clipboard. Once you both reached the front desk, you handed the form to the receptionist.

"My name is Y/N,“ you told him. "If you need anything, give me a call.”
