Re: Jasper's show name... he's the one of Alex's horses I never came up for one for lol. I liked the name Jasper but couldn't make it fit with anything larger really. He's named after the stone, which is speckled like he is. While I'm here, please have these notes from the doc about Alex's horses & their lineages, which I never got to use (except for Josie's). The sires/dams are all real quarter horses that I found in the AQHA breeding records!

I'm not sure which rope competition you're referring to! They win a few times in different rodeos over the course of the fic. But you can probably assume they did—they win a lot.
As for All-Around Cowboy, Alex clinches that title at the beginning of Chapter 6. It's determined by your amount of earnings over the course of the year, and by October Alex had earned enough over everyone else that no one could catch him.
