Lucy seemed happy about something and she all but flitted over to Luce and had to keep the child-like glee from radiating off of her. She crept up behind him, lifted herself onto her toes and covered his eyes.

Lucy had seen pretty much everything at this point and not much really fazed her anymore. So when she smelled the coppery bite of blood, it didn't surprise her when she looked up from the checklist to see Luce covered in blood.

He's probably been sent to her to clean up. It was a rather common occurance as of late.
