Free Moving P.J. Barbie doll from 1974 by Mattel dressed in Best Buy Barbie fashion # 3203 Polka Dot Perfect from 1973 

P.J. is dressed in the complete Barbie Best Buy fashion # 3203 from 1973.  The fashion includes a white blouse with black dots and black & white check bow at the neckline, a red & white polka dot skirt and a matching vest.  The look is completed by red chunky pilgrim shoes.

I ended up going with red-red as it had the most votes when I started rerooting. I tightened up and moved her hairline to be more modern. I’m undecided if I’ll move her partline or not yet… I’m not sure if I’m comfortable using bigger plugs to fill the wide holes left from her original hair. For the most part I’m following her original rooting pattern and filling in any thin spots as I go.

I usually steal hair from EAH heads so this red-red hair isn’t going as far as thought it would. I might work some of the auburn hair in as highlights to stretch the red-red out. I think I want to save the pink for another head.

1989 Passeio Estrela Viky Barbie - The Passeio brand licensed Barbie dolls in Brazil.  Viky is a Friend of Barbie from Brazil. She has the Steffie face mold with freckles.  This version was given as a gift to attendees of the 1989 Barbie Convention.
