..... Come on! This puppy could change the world.
Yesterday I shot a pet festival in the park near our house. It was probably one of the best events you could imagine as a dog lover. BARCS (Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter) hosted their ninth annual BARCStoberfest in Patterson Park with proceeds benefitting the 12,000 animals that come to the shelter each year. They had food vendors (human and canine), pet supplies, agility courses, a costume contest, microchipping, a run/walk to raise money and adoption tents.
It was packed with folks and their dogs (some proud and some ashamed of their outfits) and I witnessed only one little skirmish. It was near the costume contest stage -- a tactic to get the other dog off his game I'm sure.
Fun, fun, fun, and a great way to support the local animal shelter!
