So today on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I will be talking about the latest album from Country Music Group Midland. The new project is titled "Barely Blue" and was released on September 27th, 2024. But before we dive into the new project, let's talk about Midland's career for a little bit.
Some of the biggest hits from Midland include such songs like "Drinkin' problem", "Burn out", & "Mr. Lonely". Other hits from Midland are "Cheatin' songs", "Out of sight", & "fourteen gears". Let's jump back to this new 8 track CD next.
Some of the highlights that I found are "Lucky sometimes", the title track "Barely blue", & "Old fashioned feeling". The stand out tracks in my opinion are "Better than a memory", "Halfway to Heaven", & "Lone star state of mind". Here is the rest of the track list up next.

And that's a wrap for the track list And on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I would give this album a 4 out of 5 stars. I really don't like this ep kind of CDs. Midland had a hand in co-writing 7 out of 8 tracks. There are some stand out tracks on this new album. But if you are a fan of Midland, you should pick this up.
