Dal 1977, Bargemusic presenta concerti di musica da camera in un bancone ancorato ai piedi del ponte di Brooklyn. Artisti affermati e emergenti suonano sul piccolo palco di Bargemusic con sullo sfondo la vista sul East River e lo skyline di Downtown Manhattan. Il barcone, ora sala per concerti galleggiante, era usato per trasportare sacchi di caffe’ nel porto di New York. 

Since 1977, Bargemusic has presented chamber music in a floating barge at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge. Both established and emerging musicians perform at Bargemusic on a small stage with the dramatic backdrop of the East River and lower Manhattan skyline. the barge, now a floating concert hall, was used to transport coffee on the New York Harbor.
