               As someone who came from a very affection family physical contact was nothing new to Marinette--however she’d come to find it was a rarity. Hayes always seemed just out of arm’s reach. It wasn’t that he was cold, just a little distant, and the longer she was around him the more she got an idea of why. She was hardly an expert on being around with people either. A clumsy moment could send her into a frenzy of stumbling through her words a hundred miles a minute--which exactly why she was feeling frustrated right now.

                 Slowly a smile crept onto her face. “Thank you Hayes--I appreciate it--really.” She sat up a little bit straighter. “I’ll be alright just give me a moment longer.”
