oh man, my copy of it should be arriving within the next week. is this a purchase I'm going to regret??

it might depend what platform you're playing it on tbh (or maybe the PC controls just suck in general, idk)

I'm on chapter 3 right now, the visuals are absolutely stunning (and Nilin is such a badass heroine) It's one of those games that makes you want to go forward and find out what's around the corner. The battle system is what I'm not really enjoying, also there's a bit too much leaping from ledge to ledge, makes you feel like you're playing Prince of Persia.
