As a Latina in Hollywood, sometimes you get annoyed when all your parts are, like, ‘the sexy, hot Latina’ or whatever. You’re going to get those [scripts] all the time, but I think the stories are getting better and becoming more inclusive. I have thought about that more now — that I have a responsibility to do projects that are going to make me feel good and send out a good message, or that I feel are funny or are going to propel society forward.
