I love converted mills, but only if they incorporate the original equipment, and this is a type of mill I've never seen before- it's a corn mill, built in 1810 in Naas, Leinster, Ireland. 6bds, 2full, 2.5bas. $1,793,478
Beautiful converted 1900 historic mill in Quakertown, Pennsylvania has the original mill stone on the lawn, that was used to crush and grind the wheat and grains for bread. 4bds, 3ba, $885K.
Welcome to The Flour Tower. It's a 5 story, single family, converted 1910 former grain mill in Bridgeport, Washington. 4bds, 8ba, $945K.
In love with this historic grist mill in St. Johnsville, New York b/c it has ALL the old equipment. It’s a store, as well as a home, with several other buildings on the property.
Isn’t the store cute? There’s also a B&B across the street.
Powder room.
Look at all this wonderful stuff.
The kitchen is gigantic.
Love this - eating amongst the equipment.
Cute bedroom- look at the antique barber chair- it’s actually a salon.
More sleep space.
The upper floor bath.
TV room has 6 TVs for some reason.
Love it.
River beside the mill.
The bed and breakfast across the street.
This beauty comes with it.
Isn’t this pretty for guests?
Cute country kitchen.
Look at this bedroom & bath. I wouldn’t rent this one out.
What a gorgeous B&B.
The barn on the property.
And, a little cabin. What a property.

This is wonderful- it’s an 1830 Stone Mill in Frenchtown, NJ and it still retains its beautiful form in its re-imagined purpose as a substantial retail/studio space and 4 one-bedroom loft apartments. It’s really a unique property. The retail/studio is on the first floor and the 4, 1bdrm. apts. are on the second.
The store is lovely.
Look at the original wide mill floors. It appears that at least these 2 apts. have bedrooms in lofts.
The ancient walls in the living room are gorgeous.
The kitchens are all redone and are natural light wood with slate tile floors.
I like the decor in this bedroom.
There are only 2 of the apts. pictured and they’re both just so pretty.
This one has full stairs while the other one has more rustic, ladder-like stairs.
The kitchen is done in the same materials.
This loft bedroom is a little larger and has room for a sitting area.
The walls in the remodeled bath blend in beautifully with the aesthetic.
What a great building.

Living in this converted old mill in Pennsylvania is like living in a museum.
The mill has several floors, and the bottom is full of the owners’ antique collection. I don’t know what kind of mill it was, and it looks like all the industrial equipment was removed.
This appears to be a collection of tube radios or something.
This beautiful old fireplace really works.
The blue kitchen cabinetry is fabulous.
The bathroom looks like an old laboratory, and look at the tub.
In this room is an extensive collection of magazines.
Three nice bedrooms on the lover floor.
The master, on the top floor, faces the beautiful window that’s seen on the outside. What a place.

This isn’t a home, but it’s got so many fabulous features. It’s a company’s office in a converted mill.
This place would be great to convert to a home and a workspace.
It’s certainly large enough.
The Board Room. Once, I posted an apt. that had one of these shooting target posters as art, too, and some people were offended. Gee, they’re actually for law enforcement practice.
But this. What a great living room this would be. The whole building would make a fabulous home.
