A Silence Carry You Can Carry by Hibaq Osman

The Common Room Animation Project is a collaboration between 13 animators, based on Talia Randall's spoken-word poem 'Common Room'. Each of the animators chose a segment of the poem that inspired them the most, and brought their own unique style, technique and interpretation to the poem. We’re back. New year, new opportunities for your mind to be blown.. along with ours.. you know, we only book acts who are capable of surprising ourselves... We're back and raring to go on MONDAY 11th JANUARY at the Seven Dials Club, Covent Garden. And, even better, to kick off the year, alongside delectable BAR Poets, we have TALIA RANDALL and CALEB FEMI joining us for the evening. Come down to hear some of the best poets writing in London share their words. TALIA RANDALL’s work is about speaking the unspeakable and capturing moments that we all share but find difficult to communicate. Driven by collaboration and play Talia is constantly growing her practice, exploring new art forms and ways of communicating with audiences. In association with Sex in the Afternoon, an afternoon of poets exploring the use of sex in their poetry and prose, Burn After Reading present a series of specially written poems responding to themes around sex.
