Barred Eagle Owl - Jurong Bird Park - June 1978 In June of 1978 I spent several days exploring Singapore on my way back from a year In Balikpapan and Kalimantan Timur (East Borneo), Indonesia. One of my favourite/favorite places was the Jurong Bird Park. Barred Eagle Owl, Jurong Bird Park, June 1978 When I was a young person I spent a year in Southeast Asia. I taught ESL in Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur (East Borneo), Indonesia. On my way back I spent a few days in Singapore including a visit to the Singapore Zoo and Jurong Bird Park.
