When Frank had graduated from the Hogwarts, he wasn’t sure if he’d stay involved with the Warlocks. Whilst it had been great during his degree, the workload put to him from the Auror Academy was enough to make him want to quit everything else. But when he was approached about the mentorship program, and knowing how well his own mentor had helped him in his first year, he jumped at the chance. 

And who better than Barty? Frank had met the younger wizard the previous year, and as cliche as it sounded, he had seen a lot of himself. A goal to become Head Boy, a parent who was almost impossible to please. It was the perfect match. So, after receiving an owl from Barty saying he wanted to talk, Frank found himself sitting in the common area of Tremblay Manor.

Steve spent his nights on patrol. But it wasn’t just criminals he was on the lookout for -- it was other heroes. He challenged Enforcers, and tried to find new heroes before they could. If they wanted to register, that was their choice. But he wanted them to know they had options, and people who would stand behind them if they didn’t. 

Like this young man. Steve had been observing him from an alleyway for a while now. He was clearly practicing some newfound speedster powers. (Which sent a pang through his chest at the thought of Pietro -- but there was nothing to be done about that. Pietro made his choices, and Steve had to accept them, honor them.) “Not bad,” he called out, stepping into view as the young man skidded to a halt. He glanced around them. “Abandoned parts of the city are good for testing out something new, right?”
