Bart’s Fish Tales | Japanese TUNA Burger
This month I have been cooking up an almost strictly pescatarian diet at home. With Alan and I due to run not one but five 10K marathons this year, we had been training for the last 8 months and started to have symptoms of runners knee! This creaky feeling in our joints made it a little less bearable for our running days and so we felt it was necessary to boost our dose of Omega 3 in our diet.
As an experiment, Alan and I have been eating almost nothing but fish in our diet for the last month and since it has actually cured our stiff joints! With our access of free time, as we are both seeking for full time work currently, we have been running 6K and back on a DAILY bases - and boy are we tired!
This is one of the prettier dishes I made during the month, Bart’s Japanese tuna burger via Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube. It had a lot of great flavours and textures going on, this burger could have also been made using tinned tuna as a substitute to the fresh, just don’t overcook it! More of my fish recipes can be seen over at my instagram, really this thing has been a life saver for the gaps in the blog, check it outtt.
