Its finally here! The new brand I had been telling you all about! PekoPeko TV!

Alan and I are back from our pretrip in Japan and boy did we take a lot of footage! I’m talking about over 3500 photos and 300 videos in 2 weeks! And that’s a lot of content! But instead of continuing status quo we have launched our new brand PekoPeko! TV, which will feature our photos from the next stage of our lives in Japan!

Our first episode will soon be up on YouTube at some point this month so look out for that gem! But in the mean time do follow the new blog and social network links below. See you there!

March 2016 | HUGE NEWS & Etsy Notebooks!

Hey everyone, long time no hear! This year has been the biggest change of my life (so far!) and there are HUGE plans for V&Tree!

Firstly, I want to announce that this year Alan and I plan to move to Japan to become ALT’s. This was a lengthly but huge decision for us and we working very hard to make sure our dreams come true! So we will update as more news comes through.

Secondly, V&Tree, this blog whom I have been loyal to for the past 5 years is about to undergo a rebirth, or maybe should I say a rebrand? As you may know I have many names under my work, I have the V&Tree blog, Alovera Studio and now Alan and I have plans to start a Youtube channel (vlog)! There will be Japan, there will be food and moreover there will be all the behind the scenes shenanigans that you, the viewer, have never known - all wrapped up in one! So stay tuned this May 2016 for the launch of our new brand and channel coming soon!

And finally, what these pictures are all about. We need your help! Now up on our etsy shop we are selling handmade notebooks to raise money for a new used Video DSLR Camera. Each notebook is hand cut, stitched and assembled by yours truly, using my hand-picked ephemera from my first Tokyo Trip in 2011 that kick-started V&Tree as we know it today! Each notebook costs £3.50 or Mix&Match 3 for £10 and I will include a little extra something for your love and support! Speak to you soon!

LIFEgame | The Best Game Ever

On the last days leading to New Year’s, Alan and I attended the best game we have ever experienced - LIFEgame.

Having been a part of an International Church in my hometown of Epsom, I had been recommended going to a mysterious event called LIFEgame by the moment I settled into the community with Alan. So, bent to find out the truth, Alan and I traveled far and wide, even a day early, to the town of Alfreton to attend the last years event of 2015. If I had to boil it down to one word - it was BRILLIANT.

It’s really like no event I have ever been to and in a way, like a movie, I can’t spill the details as it would ruin the plot. But all I can recommend is that if you are soul searching, and you don’t mind being amongst a bunch of bananas in the middle of nowhere England for 3 days (food and housing included!) than please hesitate no further! Because in the end I laughed, I cried and I had the most important lesson of my life. All here, amongst strangers, who I now call my friends today. Happy New Year Every One!
