When I entered the club that night… I wasn't expecting anything to happen beyond a casual conversation and perhaps sharing a few drinks.

I knew very well how delicate the situation stood between us after a disastrous breakup years ago, followed by a bittersweet reunion that ended anything but friendly.

No, I wasn't there to beg nor did I want him to take me back.

Jiminie had his life and I had mine.

Yoonmin AU! Where Yoongi and Jimin are exes reunited in a distant future by strange circumstances and the memories of a painful past marked by lies, betrayal and a forbidden love that should've never been. But sometimes life gives us a second chance to make things right... and sometimes to see how hard we're willing to fall.

This is just a short project I've been working on in between writing for Forever, You Said & Lunatic High (basically whenever nothing comes up for these two I just work on that one <_< ). And its based/inspired by the HYYH era.  

Particularly two things or two theories:

The theory of Yoonmin being "the secret lovers of HYYH". This theory has drawn my attention ever since the Love Yourself era came out and there are SO MANY hints/details that point back to Yoonmin having been together in some secret relationship since RUN era, despite the fact that we've always been shown that the "official canon" pairings are: Yoonkook, Jihope, Vmon. But that Yoonmin's relationship could've been the detonant to that fight between Yoonkook during RUN. (In Euphoria we also see glimpses of Jikook having grown close at some point)

The theory of the multiverse/timeloops. Someone explained on youtube after "Film Out" dropped (and I believe it was xCeleste), that the  the scene with Jin opening the door to the space with multiple floating doors, represents the multiple universes/timeloops Jin created as a result/consequence of constant time traveling. So WHAT IF there was a timeline where Jin does leave, but despite the hardships the boys pull through on their own?

So those are the key elements I’ll be working with for this fic (which is more of a Oneshot). I even have a tentative title for it, No Ordinary Love, a bit of a Hurt/Comfort fic.
