Large gunpowder magazine (arsenal) | Museum Night, 2017 The large gunpowder magazine is an impressive structure, entirely cut in the rock bellow the upper town. The project was designed by Major Franz Nicholas Suly, one of the leading engineers engaged in the first phase of the baroque reconstruction of the (Kalemegdan) fortress. The arsenal was built in two years (1718-1720), and it also served for ammunition storage throughout the 19th century. Later on, in accordance with the 1739 peace treaty, the arsenal was handed over to the Ottomans undamaged. Today, this area has been only partly renovated and arranged. One of the halls features a permanent display of Roman stone monuments (stelae, sarcophagi and altars) collected over the past decades from Singidunum (Belgrade), Viminacium (Kostolac) and The Kosmaj Mountain. In the summertime, the arsenal with its enclosed courtyard occasionally hosts concerts and theatre performances.

Automobil udario u stijenu, jedna osoba povrijeđena

Foto: Patrola CG Jutros nešto nakon sedam sati došlo je do saobraćajne nezgode na putu Podgorica – Cetinje, u mjestu Barutana, saopšteno je Portalu Analitka iz OKC-a. Do nezgode je došlo tako što je automobil udario u stijenu. “Jedna osoba zadobila je povrede, međutim ne znamo o kakvom stepenu povreda je riječ”, kazali su iz policije za taj portal. U mjestu Barutana na putu Podgorica – Cetinje, jutros je došlo do saobraćajne nezgode u kojoj su učestvovala tri putnička vozila, piše portal Analitika. Za taj portal nisu imali informacija o stanju putnika a na vozilima je pričinjena veća materijalna šteta. V zadnjih dveh dneh je iz prej zaraščene goščave nastal nov javni - prireditveni prostor. Obdržali smo številan drevesa in gromovnice. Skupaj več kot 15 različnih vrst.

In last two days, Creative district Barutana got new public space, where before was just bushes and trees. We have kept many trees and bushes, more than 15 different sorts altogether.
