the game that didn't end with a dead phone (for once)
played baseball today.
perfect weather. good team. intense game.
and for the first time in FOREVER, my phone didn't die.
the usual baseball phone experience:
1st inning: phone at 100%, feeling good
3rd inning: 75%, still okay
5th inning: 40%, starting to worry
7th inning: 15%, panic mode activated
9th inning: DEAD, missed filming the walk-off
every. single. time.
why phones die at baseball games:
- you're outside for HOURS (sunshine = battery drain)
- using camera constantly (recording plays, swing analysis)
- GPS/map apps (finding the field, tracking stats)
- music between innings
- texting the team group chat - checking weather updates
basically: baseball + phone = dead battery speed run
today was different.
brought my KDYNIX charger.
tucked it in my gear bag. didn't think about it.
7th inning? phone still at 90%.
after the game? enough battery to:
- film post-game celebration
- post highlights
- coordinate team dinner
- navigate to the restaurant still had 60% left.
SIXTY.
what i love:
it's SMALL. fits in the side pocket of my baseball bag. doesn't take up glove space.
it's FAST. charged my phone during the mid-game break. went from 40% to 85% in like 20 minutes.
it's DURABLE. dropped it getting out of the car. still works fine.
it's CLEAN. white design doesn't look cheap. looks like actual gear, not random tech.
who needs this:
if you:
- play baseball (obviously)
- use your phone to track stats
- record games/practices
- need your phone for rides/coordination
- are tired of the dead phone anxiety then yeah.
get this.
the baseball phone struggle is real:
you NEED your phone for:
- communication with team
- emergency contact
- recording improvement
- tracking performance
- staying connected
but baseball games are LONG and phones die FAST.
KDYNIX solves this.
simple as that.

finally played a full game without phone anxiety.
feels good.
real talk:
best $19 I've spent on baseball gear this season.
(sorry new bat, you've been dethroned)
currently charging for tomorrow's double header
@arcticsnow my dad keeps telling me to move back
@ictsgn i'm in california, so they're coming to the a's at the end of april (usually i see them during the summer). i haven't seen my ohio family since nov 2019 so maybe two birds?
so now i kind of want to go to opening day but obviously because of snow precautions it would have to be like a week in ohio
kip’s first return to cleveland will have no fans and none of the guys can hug him 💔
I'm unreasonably sad.... Joe Kelly to the fucking Dodgers 😭😭😭. My 2nd least fave team gets one of my fave relief pitchers. Fuck.
I didn't need to know this before trying to sleep. Ugh.
i’m so sad about the indians i’m watching random extra inning games hoping for walk-offs
