Omega is Deaf and has been since birth. They can read lips and speak but it was very difficult to learn as they can't hear much. The reason they don't talk much during battles is because everyone moves too fast for them to read their lips. They know sign language but don't use it often because there's not a lot of people who understand it.
Sometimes they can hear if people shout or something is very loud.
