We haven't actually touched on Stanford era yet! And Stanford era is so delicious! First of all, there's the separation and longing and loneliness, absolutely. But there's also every secret stolen hookup we do imagine, all the fics about little reunions or phone sex. And that's not even getting into why it is "i haven't asked you for a thing in two years" and not "four." Our heroes being apart just makes their relationship that much more juicy. So yeah, dig into that in whatever way you see fit.
