Lunch Ladies stroll down the Sunset Strip with news of record release

I recall one of the final shows at the AK47 house where Lunch Ladies called “Sunset Strip (Take Me Away)” one of their favorite songs off their EP, Demos. 

Following the band on a personal level, I have felt the love and passion of their tunes and I believe they are going to take the Sunset Strip away with them on their musical journey and future. 

Lunch Ladies, made up of Matt Whitley, Cynthia Rittenbach, Matt Ramiz, and Peter Gargano, are about to debut their LP Down on Sunset Strip with the release signed on Good Eye Records. I just have to say, I hope the song “Sunset Strip (Take Me Away)” is what influenced this record title. 

The band is having an album release show this March 10, having the record digitally available. Taking on some of the trippiest of vibes upon the Jersey Shore music scene, I have witnessed the band’s talent as one to be relaxed by, influenced by, and inspired by. Rittenbach is one of the shyest artists I have ever met, but it truly makes me admire her that much more as an artist, musician, and human. 

Whitley and Ramiz will have you laughing up a storm. I must say, I haven’t seen them in some bit, and I have been out of the scene for a little bit this semester, but their out loud personalities make me happy to not only know their music, but just that little bit about them. Unfortunately, I have yet to meet Gargano, but I am sure he adds volume and beats like one could not believe to this upcoming LP release. 

I look forward to seeing Lunch Ladies Jan. 23 at The Saint in Asbury featuring artists, Kino Kimino, EVL MOMMZ, and Fruit & Flowers. I will see you all there! Keep your eyes and ears open for more news on Lunch Ladies. Congratulations my friends and rock n’ roll!
