For fucks sake, Mick, they've got nothing. They got out with the clothes on their back, if that. People were hurt. People died.
Regardless of people's attitudes towards addiction, the fact that people can think of any death at all as not incredibly tragic and heartbreaking is shocking. I figured it was part of our basic humanity to feel terrible about people dying, even if we believe that whatever they did in life was terrible. Apparently it's not? Fuck, I think I know people less than I thought I did.
