Today & Deliveroo
Ordered pizza, cheesy bites and halloumi fries. Yay, me.
The entire thing was delivered cold, with water damaged boxes. The Cheesy bites box also had some sort of cream smashed into it - So hard that it was actually inside the box and on the food.
So I put in a complaint with pics and Deliveroo said
You got your food so... quitcha bitchin'
(I paraphrase for comic effect).
In fact, I had to carefully explain that mysterious un-ordered sauce (which may be an allergen), crushed out of its hermetic little pod and smeared around under unknown circumstances, which has been smeared all over food in what was supposed to be a clean and adulterant free delivery box is kind of a big deal, and I'd have to escalate this entire rigamarole*
*Ooh. Rigamarole - That's a bonus score.
At which point the guy on chat who had discarded the entire multi-point complaint, determined huh, might have to talk to the TL and refund that bank breaking $3.
This then is the world we live in: Where amateur delivery people do not have standards or correct equipment and their masters, who are quietly adding extra fees to bump profits, won't address the issues, since they've effectively put everyone's delivery divisions out of business.
Anyway, my point is that Deliveroo are garbage.

I feel like when I demand for what I logically deserve, I'm asking too much, and WOW if that's not fucked up.
