Could you do a basil x reader where the reader is very intelligent and always the top of their school(because their parents force them too always be perfect)Also considered to be very pretty to the point people will give love letters to them.
BASIL with a very intelligent and pretty reader
BASIL is honestly really shy around u. he's always shy, but he's just extra nervous that you're going to think he's weird
if ur the only kid to get 100% on a test and the teacher announces it, he probably has to stop himself from clapping and cheering you on (as to not embarrass himself)
he just kind of tries to ignore his feelings for you, he knows you're way out of his league and that you get love confessions day and night,, so there's no way you'd ever even look at him
if he starts thinking about how pretty you are, he'd try to shake those thoughts from his head and ignore them. for some reason just thinking about your looks made him feel bad. you didn't deserve that!
he admires your smarts. he's kind of an average kid, C's and B's. he excels in certain subjects like science, but with others not so much. i think his grades really dropped once his friends split apart
if you two were to get closer and become friends (which would take a while considering it was kind of hard for him to talk to you), he'd probably slip a note into your locker asking you to meet him somewhere, and he draws sunflowers and your favorite flower on it (cornball)
i think BASIL is on the aro spectrum so it would all be new to him, as he's never had real feelings for someone, but i think it'd give him a confidence boost once you two become friends and start chatting!
he tells you his feelings when you meet up with him and gives you your favorite flower, homegrown from his own yard. he's fiddling with his fingers, and looking away.
a part of him was just expecting rejection. the right part of his mind understood that he didn't deserve you, and that you didn't like him
but there was one part of his brain that was so infatuated with you, and he thought if you were going to let him down, then you were going to do it slowly,, because you were so nice. that was just how you were. so he just had to grin and bear it
if you accept his confession, and maybe bring u a date, he gets really red and giddy and has to take a breather to calm himself down
when u two start dating he kinda awkwardly tries to hold your hand but if you move it away without noticing he tries to play it off and gets really sweaty
overall he doesn't think he deserves you at all, but he tries not to let it show and appreciate you as much as possible. he doesn't know how long it'll last, but he won't make the same mistake of taking people for granted ever again.

A/N: Another BASIL one from my Wattpad! Once again a slight warning for ooc HEADSPACE KEL and jealous KEL/OMORI.

- The little man in the overalls!
- Like HEADSPACE KEL he's basically the same as his REAL WORLD self with a few differences.
- HEADSPACE BASIL focuses a lot more on the meaning of plants than REAL WORLD BASIL does, comparing them to his friends!
- His favorites are the ones that are like his friends!
- Like REAL WORLD BASIL he's very down on himself but prefers to be happy for OMORI and HEADSPACE MARI! He doesn't know why but he really wants to baby them! Though it's hard because HEADSPACE MARI is also very babying towards him and their other friends...
- When HEADSPACE MARI is giving advice to OMORI, HEADSPACE KEL, HEADSPACE AUBREY, and HEADSPACE HERO HEADSPACE BASIL likes to give advice to! Often chiming in with little things that HEADSPACE MARI may have forgot or just to give some words of encouragement to the group!
- Wishes he could do more to help them as they seem to get stuck doing a lot of puzzles, but that's not his specialty.
- Wants to go where OMORI goes! He knows he can't all the time but he wishes he could follow him and the others around more often! But he usually gets stuck with HEADSPACE MARI at the picnic blanket.
- Because of this he had a very strong bond with HEADSPACE MARI! They're always talking about a whole bunch of things! But someone who comes up in their conversations a lot is OMORI! They both feel the need to baby him along with the other three, but find it hard since they're not around him a much as the others are.
- Fortunately for HEADSPACE BASIL he often never has to be the voice of reason because HEADSPACE MARI's always around! Everyone listens to her!
- Though he does notice the slight attitude HEADSPACE KEL gives HEADSPACE MARI sometimes and tries to calm him down.
- He gets very upset when HEADSPACE KEL takes OMORI with him to go and 'get lost'. OMORI shouldn't have to put up with that! Plus, what if he gets scared? He doesn't understand why OMORI goes along with it.
- Reminds HEADSPACE KEL to wash his hands... Doesn't see the issue here and is just happy because he's helping.
- HEADSPACE BASIL only plays with HEADSPACE AUBREY's hair!
- HEADSPACE HERO's hair is too short to play with, along with OMORI's.
- HEADSPACE MARI and HEADSPACE KEL don't like it when people touch their hair so that only leaves HEADSPACE AUBREY!
- She enjoys it! And is always willing to do it back! He just needs to give her the word!
- He doesn't think OMORI or HEADSPACE KEL like it very much when he does though, OMORI seems to get over it pretty quickly but HEADSPACE KEL gets ferocious. He often pushes HEADSPACE BASIL out of the way and starts trying to do it instead, HEADSPACE AUBREY doesn't let him, demanding he apologize to HEADSPACE BASIL!
- HEADSPACE HERO usually joins in too, demanding the same thing.
- When he started to grow his plants it didn't take very long before he saw the similarities between them and his friends! He'll make sure to take extra care of those plants! He wouldn't want to hurt them or make them sad!
- Sometimes tries to learn SKILLS from the others, but isn't very good at what they do. He can usually only do OMORI's the best, everyone else he struggles with, especially HEADSPACE KEL and HEADSPACE AUBREY.
- He wonders if HEADSPACE MARI has any SKILLS.
- The reason his shoe is all decked out in plants other than he likes them is because it gets a little lonely. He wished he could go to NEIGHBOR'S ROOM with the others but he knows there isn't enough room for him in there. Plus, if he did sleep there with the others he'd probably cover that place with plants too...
- But he also feels like there's something missing from his house, like someone else is supposed to be there. But he has no idea who or why.
- He feels like he misses someone. Someone older. Family. But he has no clue who. He has a family, and it's his friends! Other than them there is no other family! So who could he be missing so much?
- HEADSPACE BASIL often gets this empty feeling inside of him and he had no idea why! He doesn't tell anyone about it but it makes him feel... Weird?
- He feels like he's forgetting something, like there's something he should be ashamed and emotional about but he doesn't know what!
- As soon as he starts getting these thoughts OMORI shows up, and it makes HEADSPACE BASIL happy when he does! When his friends are around they always distract him from these weird feelings!
- He often hides his own weird feelings such as this one behind a smile, and laughter. Hoping that if he does so he'll feel better! It usually doesn't work...
- Like REAL WORLD BASIL HEADSPACE BASIL likes to share jokes with HEADSPACE HERO! He enjoys how he can get HEADSPACE HERO to bust out laughing at a simple joke.
- He always ends up giggling. Not because the joke was funny but because HEADSPACE HERO's laugh is contagious.
- He knows HEADPSPACE HERO can hardly catch a break having to deal with HEADSPACE AUBREY and HEADSPACE KEL, mostly HEADSPACE KEL, all day so he likes to try and do things for HEADSPACE HERO, but he doesn't usually accept the help.
- Doesn't ship HEROMARI as much as REAL WORLD BASIL does. That's just not something he cares for all too much! He prefers to mind his business but like REAL WORLD BASIL he will lead the others somewhere else to give the two a moment alone at the picnic blanket.
- He doesn't actually care for much other than his plants and friends! He usually doesn't do anything other than play with his friends and plant stuff. He reads sometimes but that doesn't happen often.
- Bottles up his feelings. He doesn't know why he does this, he knows he shouldn't be doing it and he feels weird doing it like he's not used to doing it. He feels like he'll make OMORI upset if he tells anyone, ANYONE, about how he really feels. He doesn't know why, but he doesn't want to know why so he keeps to himself.
- Is very to himself. He doesn't like physical contact, he doesn't like to speak ill of people, he doesn't like to say no in general, especially when OMORI's around, and he feels that if he ever stops smiling he'll die or something.
- When HEADSPACE BASIL first ended up in BLACK SPACE he was so confused and scared and alone. He searched for hours, calling out to his friends, and walking around. He didn't know where he was or why it was so dark.
- When he rubbed the back of his head he noticed his flower crown was gone. Wait... Where was it?!
- He then started to search for it but had no clue where it had gone to! He was so scared! So terrified!
- He just sat down and brought his knees up, hiding his face in them. Hoping whatever this was would go away.
- Eventually he did calm and decided to do something about the left over nerves so he started to grow watermelon.
- It didn't take very long... Time was weird here. He felt like the longer he was down wherever he was the more he faded away.
- Were his friends even looking for him? Surely they were right? They had to be... Right? They did care about him enough to look at least a little surely...
- He heard something...
- He looked over and saw... OMORI! And hey... Did he have his flower crown? It looked a little banged up, but that's alright! He was just so glad to see his friend again! He had to go over there and give him a big hug!

Ray headcanon time again
Blunt flaring of the rays is a universal defensive or warning display. “Back off or you’ll regret it”. Obviously used when a solar model feels threatened, but also can act as intimidation during an argument or when generally upset. Look at them flaring their rays to accentuate their point very scary so you better back down. Mileage will vary because a lot of flares are just bluffs, and may not be taken seriously at all. They can even be used playfully, granted you’re doing it with someone you know will not get upset by it.
Rattling rays is not often used as a bluff. Rattling is Aggressive, they will fucking attack you, and the noise naturally puts most DCA on edge. Eclipse’s who have secondary rays make even noisier rattles, which spook other DCAs even more. Casually rattling rays to intimidate or bluff your way into “winning” an argument is a Major asshole move and faux pas, and even assholes like Eclipse don’t do it because it’s a great way to get your shit rocked.
Moons can rattle too, but it’s very different than solar models. They don’t have rays, so when a Moon rattles it’s because they are either so injured or so Terrified that they are shaking enough to cause their internals to audibly rattle against each other. They’re not directly the threat, but it’s a good indicator that something Else is which also makes it alarming. Either way hearing a rattle is not taken lightly.
When an animatronic is born from a small string of code, evolving and growing on its own, their mindscape form reflects this. A small and young thing still learning, and not able to understand things like a fully developed animatronic can. For the short amount of time animatronics are like this, if they are at all, there will be someone to guide them… most of the time anyway.
Helios' Sun, Eos, very much took on a mom role finding them when they were in this young state. It only lasted a few months before he was fully developed but Eos practically raised him. Eclipse in contrast... He was hidden behind the lock Moon put up during that time, angry and confused and alone.
