So, I used to smoke cigarettes (quit four years ago today, woo!), and I used be signed up for coupons from my preferred cigarette brand. After quitting, I changed my account to say I'd quit and to stop sending coupons, and they complied.
Randomly, however, they sent me something for my birthday this year. But it wasn't a coupon, or just a card, there wasn't an ad, or anything even mentioning smoking whatsoever...
They sent me basil seeds, a "sprout pouch", soil pellets, and instructions. 🤗
I thought this was just the cutest thing!
Now I've got 24 little sprouts of free basil, waiting to be transplanted, cared for, and made into lots and lots of pesto, bunny food, and cocktails. Yay!
