Apple cider, scarves and cinnamon!

apple cider: what’s your favourite time of day? i’m bit of an early riser so the mornings are usually my favorite time of day. i like the quiet where i can sit outside on the porch.

scarves: favourite item of clothing you own? my combat boots, got them a few years ago for my birthday and i haven’t worn any other shoes since.

cinnamon: what’s your favourite kind of weather? autumn weather babey!!!! my favorite is when it’s still warm enough, just on the cusp of fall and there’s a light breeze that scatters the leaves and blows your hair. it’s perfect.

10) write in silence or with background noise? with people or alone?

I really like to write in silence. My brain is noisy enough and I love to let my creativity speak to me. Sometimes I have a particular track or playlist on for a specific text I’m working on, but for the most part I just love silence. I prefer to write when I’m alone because I get distracted easily by people’s energy and emotions (for the better or for the worse). But often times I don’t have a choice so I’ll be writing at my parents’ house with a lot of unpleasant distractions. 

20) do you write in long sit-down sessions or in little spurts?

Both. I sometimes only have enough inspiration or energy for a short spurt but I love writing for about 4 hours or more at a time. I have been known to churn out a good fic or chapter of a novel in less than an hour.

24) have you ever become an expert on something you previously knew nothing about, in order to better a scene or a story?

Kinda? I’ve researched a LOT of weird stuff. Medical things, weather reports from Paris in June 1920…etc. I guess I’m an “expert” on RAF slang, vampire mythology, and random obsolescent junk like that.
