🎭 Does your clan have any specific traditions, rituals, or holidays?

CreekClan doesn't follow any specific holidays (Though Duckdapple has her own little rituals) but they do celebrate the river unfreezing!

They put aside all of their duties for a day and spend the day having a riverside party. A few cats go hunting for everyone, and they relax by the riverside. It's also the first day of swimming lessons for all the kittens born in winter!

I know a lot of stories following a child who survived abuse end with them becoming an amazing parent to their own kids, but I don't know if Basilsprout would do that.

I definitely don't think he's a horrible and neglectful father like Tangledroots, but I also don't think he has a good standard for what a dad should do and be. Silverstar exists, but Basilsprout isn't particularly close to him. Tangledroots actually made sure to keep him largely absent from Silverstar's life.

Basilsprout won't be an awful and abusive dad to his future kids. But he's also not going to be the best dad imaginable. He's going to be fairly absent. He's not going to know how to care for his children's emotional needs. He's going to let the clan assist in raising them. His kids might resent him, but he'll tell himself "Well at least I'm not like my dad".

This might be a bit of a large question, but to all of our cast, why did your parents name you what they did? (You don't have to draw this answer if you dont want to i know its a large cast)

Silverstar was originally named Silvermoon in RiverClan. He was named by his parents because he's a pointed cat! He started out very silver and grew more and more pale, leaving just his muzzle and face like a bright silver moon!

Snailcrawl was named because she was a very hesitant and insecure kitten. She clung to her mother's side and wouldn't do anything without at least five attempts beforehand with her mother assuring her it was safe. She and Silverstar were childhood friends, and he helped her a lot.

Sheepspeckle was named because she was FLUFFY. She was a fuzzy little single kitten, and raised by a single father. her parents cat divorced before she was born and her mother passed away when she was very young. Her warrior name is after her mother, Speckleseed.

Duckdapple was named for her duck walk! As a kitten she followed a ritual of walking with her paws turned outwards and exaggerating her steps. She has kitty OCD, if I haven't hinted at it enough.

Sunspider was yellow.

Dandydaisy was born to outsiders who joined the clan for their family to have a safe place to live. He was born as Daisykit. His parents ended up passing away from a greencough epidemic, and never got to see him transition. he chose the prefix Dandy himself because he thought it fit his more upbeat attitude, and kept Daisy to honor his parents.

Snakefang was named for her teeth! The second her teeth grew in, she had little fangs that stuck out of her mouth. She's Martenstar's daughter! Her littermates were Minkpaw and Stoatpaw.

Harechase is an oriental cat, and was found as a kitten near twolegplace. She was named by the clan for her oddly huge ears and thin body.

Tangledroots was named after his father, Tangledbramble. He's a traditional guy. He wanted to name basilkit, but he thought it'd give his parentage away.

Cardinalsong was named for her pattern! She very much looks like a female cardinal, tan with a little bit of red on her.

Basilsprout was named by Cardinalsong. She used to love sneaking out to visit twolegplace with Sheepspeckle and Duckdapple, and basil grew in the garden of their favorite house to visit. She had planned to request his warrior name to be Basilleaf.

Willowkit was named because Willow trees grew along the river back at RiverClan, and it was a reminder of home. Riverkit was similarly named after RiverClan.
