~🔪 Turning to where they walked by, Ayano had been following them for quite some time, but being careful. Subtle in the Highschool after hours as she quietly tailed them, observing any and all they’d talk to. Already having taken measures to deal with secret admirers they might’ve had, albeit with discretion and peaceful resolutions with little to no intimidation.

Without even thinking about it, Madoka gently rested her head on the other shoulder and closed her eyes. She honestly hadn’t realized that she had done it nor did she know just how tired she was.

“Is it ok if I rest for a bit? I know we had plans but I’m so exhausted.”

Scarlet talks with a monotone, laying out the catalog of weapons they have on hand. Another girl sits in the corner, playing on a small console while the transaction goes on.

OMAE WA MOU SHINDEIRU || ACCEPTING

Bad Bad Badbadbadbad. Goriest shit I’ve ever written… then again I’ve never written gore. Thought I’d try it for some ungodly reason.

Red.

Half of what he could see was Red.

His dead-eye was glowing and leaking red. He’s trying to keep his determination to a minimum, but it doesn’t help that it’s also the only thing keeping is DEFENCE so high. It also doesn’t help that his HP is pretty low

He tried to reason with her. She may be a criminal, she may contribute to killings with her selling of guns, but the last thing he wants to do is kill her. It’s not even out of attachment for her. Sure, he might care enough to reason with her and not want her to continue on this obviously bad path, but it’s more about not wanting to have anyone’s blood on his hands.

Why wouldn’t she reason? Why couldn’t she see that she didn’t need to do this?

She wasn’t in better shape either. There is just as much red on her as there is on him. But, she’s obviously much less messed up than him, which was done on purpose. She still held a gun at him, visibly shaky, whether it was the fear that he was somehow still alive after 3 shots (one to the rib, shoulder and leg) or that she felt enough sympathy for him to hesitate to kill him.

They stayed silent, only the noise of heavy breathing could be heard. They stayed still, with only the occasional wincing and adjusting their position to feel less pain in their bodies.

Hw didn’t know what to do, anymore. He was going on full instinct and couldn’t think straight. He took a step forward, about to say something he didn’t even know what it was going to be and-

BANG

She shot him again, right in the middle of his left rib cage. It was definitely aimed to kill, despite missing his SOUL. Things went black after that. 

Or rather… Red.

Was he dead? He’s not sure. He could only see Red.

Only Red.

At some point, he was panting. He doesn’t remember. It wasn’t like he passed out. It was more like he forgot how to breathe. Like he lost consciousness while still being conscious.

He lifted his head up, thinking that maybe she fled, thinking he was dead. But, then again, he was standing. Wait, why was he-?

Why was there more red? There’s so much red. This isn’t his eyes playing him because of DT, it literally drained out. But it’s everywhere… on the floor, on the walls, on the-

There’s a disgusting noise. One that would make you feel numb. A crunch, wet, meaty, bony, hard and ripping. 

Somehow, he missed it before, a giant Blaster was ripping apart the carcass of something, of her, of her dead fucking body. 

It was Doom. Doom was eating her.

He breathed in a loud gasp, abruptly waking up, before uncontrollably hyperventilating. His SOUL was beating abnormally fast, so much it hurt, he felt an urge to vomit. He held in the feeling for a while, trying to calm down and ease his disoriented and panicked state. But it only got worse, “they” were too loud and too messed up after a nightmare like this. He had to get up, or else he’ll just throw up in his own bed.

He wobbly paces to the bathroom, doesn’t even open the lights or look at the mirror and immediately hurls in the toilet bowl, almost missing it. He can’t think, he doesn’t want to think. All he does is try his best to steady his breathing.

He isn’t sleeping tonight. He should probably take sick for tomorrow.
