Obviously the phrenology obsessed surgeon would go to a museum to see more bones while the one who's life is in danger went for a stroll...

Being honest, I wanna go to that museum, too.

The Hunterian Museum, spanning four centuries of surgery, medicine, natural history and the arts, is in need of conservation support.

💀 EERIE BASKERVILLE HALL AMBIENCE | Spooky Forest & Haunted Swamp Sounds | Sherlock Holmes ASMR

Dark fog is rising over Baskerville Hall, an old estate located in the midst of Dartmoor mires. Creepy demonic hound from an ancient legend that has been haunting the Baskerville family for centuries is on the loose again tonight. Misty nature at night might seem quiet and even peaceful until you hear chilling howling of ghostly predator searching for another unfortunate victim. You can hear cold wind blowing through trees, spooky owl hooting in the forest, swamp cicadas and eerie spirits howling. Was it just a gust of wind or the sound of tormented souls calling you from the depths of the swamp? Be careful, dear friend, because once you're in the swamp there will be no one to save you.

This is another, much larger, version of Baskerville Hall that I completed a couple of years ago. The model, which adorns my living room, is based on Clyro Court, in Wales, which is now the Baskerville Hall Hotel.

Although the architecture of Clyro Court does not closely resemble the description of Baskerville Hall by Conan Doyle, the legendary house has been argued to be the inspiration for The Hound of the Baskervilles as it was built by Thomas Mynors Baskerville in 1839 and Conan Doyle was a family friend and visited often. While there, he likely heard the legends of spectral hounds attacking people and dragging their souls to hell.

Inspirations of the Hound of the Baskervilles and Baskerville Hall

The scenery of The hound of the Baskervilles Has had me curious as I listen to Stephen Fry narrate the greatest of Conan Doyle’s Detective stories.
