This is Buford the Bassigator, the reason I stopped here. He’s getting older, but he’s still magnificent.
The Bassigator is an alligator-bass hybrid found in the Abittia Mystery House in Louisiana. The Bassigator is a large bass with the head of an alligator that is 22 feet long. However the Bassigator is a paper mache model made with plywood and chicken wire though have claimed to see real Bassigators in swamps that looked like the model.

The Trail Goes Cold...
Can't sleep, must plan most awesome trip ever! Here is my dilemma: I can't find anything I really want to see in Mississippi. Maddening!!
Edit: We're going straight to Covington: Thrift Stores, Abita Brewing, Alligator Farm.
