[video description: turn around showing 7 hand sculpted ceramic bats all glazed differently, on wood pedestals to show them off at varying heights]
been making lots of little ceramic batties lately! here's a bunch of them from kiln day last week! they are porcelain and entirely hand made/formed
there were actually two more in this set, but they sold basically right out of the kiln (and the big brown/white oxide bat at the back has already been claimed). these are the two that already sold:
these are mostly all available in my store (i am listing things as fast as i have the spoons for) and i have a second set coming out of the bisque fire soon (and am planning on making yet more bats b/c they're really fun to make and each set gets better). (continue to be terrible at queuing art on time across socials, if you want to see my stuff more consistently, you can always subscribe to my patreon :) it's only $3 a month and you get lots of behind the scenes stuff as well downloadable rewards and coupons to my shop )
look at this beautiful stupid bat my friends got for me (she's weirdly hard to photograph)
it is so funny that vampires are disgusted by shapeshifters. as if vampires do not shapeshift all the time

So the other day, I made a throwaway shitpost implying that maybe Hannibal Lecter was actually old enough to have been a Count in Lithuania (a country that last had a monarchy in 1795) because at some point, he accidentally ate Akasha (the mother of all vampires from the Anne Riceverse) and became a super-powerful sunshine-immune vampire.
…and now I’m kind of obsessed with the comedic possibilities implicit in this premise.
Like, what if he became a vampire, but didn’t actually notice?
Cause like, he was already eating people.
EEEE THEY'RE SO CUTE!!! 🐸🦇
