Start the Year, right?
While mostly are returning for work after the holidays, I decided to spend the first Monday of the year in Tagaytay. I’ve been itching to go here since the start of my Holiday Break in the company but due to some circumstances, I decided to re-schedule it. Since I have one more week of break, why not take a chance.
There’s really something in Tagaytay that somehow I felt my mind went on a reset by reflecting and mostly staring in Taal for more than an hour after all the chaos that has happened in my head from stress, making life decision and just being alone.
Quick share, I remember same date back in 2018, me and my college bestfriend were on our way to work when she texted me that she doesn’t felt like going to work yet (me as well) and spontaneously decide to drop off the bus, texted our boss to have SL (Sinungaling Leave) and then, head to the next bus going to Tagaytay. We are still wearing our uniforms (her underneath the jacket) when we met in Olivarez Circle. Then, had our lunch and went straight to this coffee shop.
We went there and spend the whole afternoon playing Mobile legends, rant about work, her brokenhearted stories and where we are that time since we became friends in college and how our decisions has led to us to our chosen careers as well as losing friends along the way. That long conversation was fun. It was very unforgettable because our bosses we’re kept calling us thinking that we’re supposed to report in the office on that day asking work stuff, data and many more. Aside from that, we purchased a new Starbucks Card and decide that the day is my new Birthday (So, we could get free Coffee and spent more time there).
Anyways, I was no longer planning to go anymore that day because commuting from Pasay to Tagaytay is a risk but I still went considering I have no car. (Tangina, pwede naman ako mag-aral somewhere dito sa Aseana).
After a 2 hour travel, I got to Tagaytay na.
When I got there, I had lunch at JT’s Manukan and went straight to Starbucks-Calamba Rd Branch
From there, I spend more than 5 hours sipping cold coffee, staring weirdly to people taking pictures in front of me and watching Steel Detailing Techniques, Macro creation and creating Custom Component that I could present to my colleagues next week that might be helpful for our future work.
The ambiance was different maybe because all were wearing masks , seat arrangements felt like you’re inside an exam room and making social distancing but the loud noises from coffee goers will never be different. *ugh I don't want to start.
After all the studying shits I did, I went to Mahogany market to buy some pasalubong and syempre ate Bulalo alone. I take-out the Bones I left so that I have also pasalubong for my Dog.
Before heading home, I grab some ice cream at Mcdonalds and enjoy the view of Taal but you know, you will realize that you’re not the only customer in the store and this lady block my view.
And so it rained the moment I stepped inside the bus. If only I could spend the night here. Sigh but I know I can afford but I need to spend my money wisely. So, yeah.
Gago move on na kasi di ka naman mahal, pag di ka mahal dapat di mo din mahal hahahahahaa tangina.
Langkwentang kausap to.
I read somewhere that if you are someone's confidant, you should not be too confident that this person will not let you go.
Mga confidant kasi iniisip na kapag ang isang tao komportableng nagsaabi sa iyo ng mga sikreto, problema, kadramahan niya sa buhay ay napakaimportante mo na sa buhay niya. You would think they are clingy and everything... Well, maybe for awhile. You being too careful about what you would say or do that the other person won't get offended, siya naman masyadong umaasa na nandiyan ka parati. Parang letting go of your kid yan eh, kailangan mo ng pabayaang tumayo sa sarili niyang mga paa. At kailangang wala ka upang magawa niya iyon.
(Teka, ano ba magandang ending paragraph na may dating? HAHA!)
May mga makikilala kang tao na ganyan ang mararanasan mo and that's okay. Huwag kang mag-alala, either ikaw ang iiwas o sila. So, good luck! :D
