It was... unusual for Garnet to send Pearl on missions alone, but she’d assured her that this one was nothing that required assistance. A new group of Gems had landed on Earth but showed no signs of being hostile, or... even particularly active, mostly keeping to themselves in the woods. Nonetheless, the Crystal Gems still wanted to get in contact with them to make sure of their intentions and the consequences of any hostile actions.

Which was why Pearl approached the camp on her own, head held high and pushed aside the branches to look for the Sapphire supposedly in charge.

And instead met the eyes of someone she hadn’t seen in thousands of years.

Alissa had been working in the back of the shop when she noticed that the pull on her string was tighter and the string itself was a bit brighter. She finished putting the different muffins in the oven and decided to go ahead and take her break. She grabbed her bag from the break room and went out into the front of the store, sitting at a table and pulling out her stuff for lunch that she had brought. She observed the string tied to her ring finger, and smiled softly at the fact that it was still there.

Connor waited outside the cantina for his friend and partner Aryn to come back out with information that could be useful to put an end to the Empire. With so much at stake and the Rebellion being put under so much pressure Time was of the essence. Looking around he was the look out for any incoming imperial stormtroopers.

"Where the... hell am I?" Aryn asked to herself, pushing herself to her feet and looking around the clearing she had awoken in. Spotting someone else laying nearby, the hybrid walked over to them and gasped in shock when she saw who it was. "Wh- how the- mom?!" (batchofdefects hybrid aryn)

Quartz didn’t really know where she was, but that’d become common enough recently that she just prayed the grass hadn’t stained her shirt and closed her eyes again. This was a nice place, maybe she could…

She jolted when she heard a familiar (though not too familiar) voice above her. Her eyes snapped open and she sat up in the grass, scooting backward. “W-who –” she began.

Upon getting a good look at her meadow-mate, she froze and whispered, “You look like my daughter.”

Kimberlite was hanging on the rafters of the Diamond Palace, her leafy green hair hanging round her face. 

“Soooo duuulll today.” She muttered. 

She looked below her at the walkways of the Palace. She shuffled along the rafters, poking a few Gems on the shoulder as they passed her by.

Poppy knelt to let Carnelian down. “Yep! How’re the geodes doing?” Carnelian greeted.

“We’re a little late, I’m sorry,” Poppy said, brushing her hair back. “We might’ve gotten carried away on the walk.”

Pip pouted, enclosing her wings around herself to look cuter. "But Aryyn, please? I even went and got you your favorite food when I snuck out this morning!! I promise I won't hurt the babies, I'll be good!!"

The newly emerged gem brushed some stone dust off herself before looking up, locking eyes with the other blue gem. "... Hi." She said lamely. (batchofdefects, war aqua to river)
