Wild ass theory, buuutt…

Ok, so we see that in the BATFL poster/cover art, there is a dark image of Kirby in an awoofy outfit with red eyes

This stands to reason that maybe, just MAYBE, Kirby got corrupted by this force that Elfilin got harmed by (and/or escaped from).

THEREFORE.

Kirby is going to be an upcoming foe that Bandee will have to fight (possibly in the last chapter)

BUUUT Bandee (being pure of heart (but still not being able to solo V1) (yes I’m still mad abt that))) will find some way to DECORRUPT Kirby/rehabilitate him.

Bandee: Hi, Bandee, Waddle Dee Role Model, say, can you do me a favor? You see that beehive by the tree?

[Bandee starts bashing Bonkers's head into the beehive.]

Kirby: Bandee, that's enough!

[Bandee starts stabbing him with his spear.]

Kirby: BANDEE, THAT'S ENOUGH!

[Bandee starts to steal Bonkers' hammer and bash his skull in with it.]

Kirby: THAT'S ENOUGH, BANDANA!
