Batman finding Joker getting beat up in an alleyway by Bane. Immediately intervening, only to be called out for it. "Coming to save your little damsel in distress?"

(Idk, I've been re-reading Europa and the way Batman reacted to Bane attacking Joker awoke something in me.)

When Batman and the Joker first start dating Batman is half convinced that the Joker regenerates and never gets sick, because he’s never seen the Joker acting like he’s in pain or under the weather even after he personally has beaten the Joker up.

In reality the Joker is addicted to ibuprofen and a really good actor

My favorite batjokes fic trope is when Bruce is forced to interact with Joker as millionaire playboy Bruce Wayne not Batman (either disrupting a gala or fundraiser or kidnapping bruce for one of his schemes, interrupting some random date he's on with his antics, etc) and Joker eventually ends up describing or mentioning his love for Batman right to his face. I just eat that up. It's so good.

Okay here me out, I'm listening to this song and I can’t help but think how interesting it would be if there was a Batman game where in one route, you'd get batman successfully turning joker to the good side and he becomes Batman's partner in vigilante and basically takes down bad guys and doesn't kill them and in another route, you’d get joker successfully turning batman to the dark side and he becomes jokers partner in crime, the batman that kills. Both of their rebirths would be the same as the other. Joker would be reborn surrounded by bats and Bruce would fall into a vat of chemicals. This new version of batman due to his now pale white skin would look vampiric and his outfit would reflect this transformation into this killing vampire bat monster (who only kills bad guys of course). The joker would still have his iconic outfit, but bats would be incorporated into the suit along with a utility belt. Within the game, choices can be made where the joker may fall back into a life of villainy or where batman will fall back into a life of vigilante, but the game can end with neither of those things happening.

Joker has gotten into the habit of covering his mouth/scars when he's genuinely happy. This is because somewhere deep down, he's terrified of losing the only thing that truly matters to him. He's doing this in an attempt to appear more 'human' to Bruce.
