actual headcanon i had hoped for for season five. not in a oh this is GOING to happen way but in a oh wouldnt it be nice to me and only me if this happened way

yes its kas theory no its not he just comes back as a vampire with disturbing yet manageable powers. hes an agent for vecna/the mindflayer and has taken the title 'king of the bats' or something uniquely eddiecringe in the upside down. say theyre on a crawl. jonathan is by himself because of course he is (in retrospect he was probably paired up with nancy or steve but was too much of a drama queen to keep up with, he has a fight with one of them leaving him vulnerable to attacks of the mind) and there's voices (vecna) and bats (eddie) and visions of his greatest fears (also vecna) and eddie (withered and gross looking but jonathan is both intimidated and turned on by this as he literally has no idea who this guy is supposed to be) gives him a choice to either join them on some 'you will be my spy, one last time' shit and of course jonathan rejects but eddie probably has vampire manipulation abilities. its not like he has a choice anyway because when jonathan has his guard down (they fight because jonathan is not going down without one) eddie bites or severely maims him before the ex crawl partner (again, either nancy or steve) finishes him off with a blast of some kind of weapon. if jonathan lives hes unfortunately part of the legion of bats if jonathan dies well that is okay he can be resurrected as eddie's toxic yaoi vampire minion. do we remember the 1986 film fright night. its like that
