Poor Tim, forced to study boring subjects like Social Studies when he could be focusing on computer algorithms instead.  I think this conversation between Batman and Tim is an interesting mix of paternal affection ("You catch a nap?") and the kind of sneaking-out-of-the-house teenagers have with their friends ("Your father?  Up for a ride?").  And Tim is so excited to go, he's actually wearing his uniform underneath his clothes, as though he's been sitting around waiting for Bruce to call.
