Batman sequel idea:
The main antagonist is the Court of Owls- a totally new concept for live action, not very known in general, and relatively new to the comic book history that had a massive success with the fans.
They can concentrate on Gotham, the influences, deception, corruption, on an even greater level than in the last film.
And the cherry on top of the cake- they can introduce Dick Grayson with his normal origin story, etc and then neatly do the connection between him and the Court and finanlly introduce him as Robin and Bruce's son.

Video Games: Batman Arkahm Sequel
So I’ve heard rumors about a new game, a sequel actually; but at the same time it’s not a sequel, it’s sprequal. By that I mean its a sequel but a about events that happen before the games that came before it. See what i mean? But back in topic, the game I am talking about doesn’t have an exact name, yet. It’s a sequel to Batman: Arkahm City, it’s going to be called something like Batman Arkahm orgins or along the lines of that. The plot is supposed to fall along the lines of when Batman and The Joker met. I’m interested in seeing how the developers of the game portrayed how they reacted when they first met, it will be quite an intriguing event considering I’m a fan of not only Batman, but DC Universe as a whole.
Christopher Nolan writes:
I told David and Jonah to put everything they knew into each film as we made it. The entire cast and crew put all they had into the first film. Nothing held back. Nothing saved for next time[...]
I never thought we’d do a second—how many good sequels are there? Why roll those dice? But once I knew where it would take Bruce, and when I started to see glimpses of the antagonist, it became essential.
I really, really like this approach to sequels. Don't hold anything back in the current story you're telling. If—and only if—you discover there is more to the story, then write more.

What Joseph Gordon Levitt and Anne Hathaway Characters Indicate
Perez Hilton, of all the entertainment reporters, broke Joseph Gordon Levitt's confirmed role for Christopher Nolan's final Batman epic, The Dark Knight Rises.
So! That means alot of things are implied for plot. What's known is Anne Hathaway is playing Selina Kyle, not Catwoman. Joseph Gordon Levitt is playing Alberto Falcone, son of Carmine Falcone, a minor villain who was driven insane off by Scarecrow in Batman Begins.
It's assumed that Anne Hathaway will not be transforming into Selina Kyle's alter ego Catwoman, because at no point has Nolan specified Catwoman will appear in the credits. All that indicates is no character will ever refer to Selina Kyle as Catwoman, dressed or not as cat-themed burglar. Frank Miller penned the transformation of Selina into a theif, and included her notorious getup, without her ever asserting or introducing herself as "Catwoman". There are hopes of a Catwoman appearance yet! Even if she's not introduced in so many words. Nolan has used Frank Miller's Batman Year One as reference and inspiration for his first Batman works, so why not again?
Alberto Falcone's appearance means another previously used inspiration. Jeff Loeb and Tim Sale's Long Halloween was used by Nolan and Aaron Eckhart as a basis for Harvey Dent/Two Face (who, by the way, was referred to as "Two Face" only once) and is the only Batman story featuring Alberto as the Holiday Killer. The story involved powerful members of the Falcone crime family executed by the serial killer "Holiday." First Harvey Dent is implicated, followed by Selina Kyle, Batman, and then revealed to be Alberto, ignored son of Carmine "The Roman" Falcone. Harvey is also transformed into Two Face in the midst of interrogating a suspect on trial. He gathers Gotham's super villains and attacks Carmine's penthouse. Batman and Catwoman/Selina Kyle clean the mess up. The exact identity of the Holiday Killer isn't revealed, as it is believed to be the work of three individuals, including Harvey Dent, Alberto, and Harvey Dent's wife.
Off the characters involved in Long Halloween, Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two face cannot appear. So why not slant the story as consequences for Dent's actions and demise? Marion Cotillard is officially part of the cast, and would make a phenomenal grieving and deranged Mrs. Dent. Carmine Falcone's hospitalization in Arkham would make a fitting inspiration to turn Alberto to violence. Possibly, the killings will be an attempt to ruin Batman's reputation.
