I purse my lips and furrow my brows thinking about his answer. "I think it sometimes helps to let your issues out... to an outside perspective, I mean. Someone who isn't in your usual circle of friends." I smile self-deprecatingly, "There's no shame in recieving therapy. I've been through five or so, and, well, I don't think of it as a big deal." I wave my hand dismissively.

I wonder what it's like to seriously confide in someone for a fleeting moment. The urge to laugh loudly at myself overtakes anything else. No one. Will ever. Know.

"It isn't a big deal. Everyone should have a therapist."

I don't really believe that, but that's what my mother told me. She's in a crazy home now.

"Um, the ones I've had are okay. It's their job to listen to you, right? So I'm not really sure how to rank them," I scratch my head awkwardly. "Are you thinking of going to one?"

"I suppose it is." I sit down on the chair across from where she sits, unbuttoning my blazer as I do so it doesn't fit incorrectly. I don't say anything for a few seconds because I have to think about my therapists. They might have listened, but they didn't believe me.

"No" I answer it as soon as she finishes asking the question. It feels strange to correct myself. "I mean. I've already seen ... a few."

He hands me the bottle and murmur a thanks. "I take them for anxiety," I explain quietly. My face feels warm again. I can't remember if he has ever called me by name before. I pop two pills and take a long sip of the water before continuing. "I usually take them before bed, but my therapist said I could take them sooner if I needed. I have another I take for depression in the morning." The bottle isn't something I've seen before. I roll it around in my grip and sigh deeply.

My eyebrows raise because I'm not used to that type of honesty. When people have issues like that in my normal circle of friends, they never address it even if they obviously take lithium or Xanax when we're out at dinner or a club because they're feeling a little ... off. Hell, I do that. 

She's being open and I don't know if I should. Sometimes I mumble about my issues, but she's actually at my apartment and I probably shouldn't do that. 

"Therapist, huh? Do you, uh, like them?" 

It's a start. It opens up the fact that I have had or do have a therapist. I remember killing a therapist. That's not important.

I laugh and remove my backpack while I making my way towards the couch. "I would have sat down already, but I wanted to ask before it was alright. I feel like should be on my best behavior when I'm here," I say candidly. Everything is so clean and white. I feel very out of place in my bright colored pants. "Yes. Water, please. I have to take my medicine anyway." I bite the bullet. He'll find out sooner or later.

I raise my eyebrows and give some sort of a shocked expression, but it disappears before too long. She's so brutally open and honest with me and I'm not used to it. 

The people I normally hang around with pretend like issues of that sort don't exist unless they're taking pills because of some designer drug fad or whatever. 

"Fine. Leti wants a glass of water." Leti. Panda. 

I walk to the kitchen to grab a bottle of Voss for her, wondering if she'll correct me. 

After I hand her the drink, I make my regular J&B scotch without ice.

"It is annoying to be anxious almost all the time though," I murmur with a frown. "C-can we sit? I think I'll feel better off my feet." My legs are shaking now. I check the time on my phone to busy myself. I realize it's time to take my medication, but I'm not sure how he'll feel about it if I take it in front of him. I could take it in the bathroom, but I'm too shaky to move any more than I need to.

"Of course. I was raised in a barn for not already offering - clearly."I motion to the couch but I don't follow her yet. I'm close to the liquor cabinet and it's late enough to not look like a total alcoholic. "Would you like something to drink?"I'm being polite now uphold appearances, but then I wonder why because I doubt she talks to any of my friends. You can never be too careful.
