My Summer Break So Far
So my summer break has been filled with helping Bossman and being tired here and there and hanging out with that Jason guy.
So I guess that means it’s going well.
However now is the time that I start prepping for School again and I told myself that I was going to read a lot.
Here’s the pile that I have so far.
As you can see, I finished one :)
If any of you guys have suggestions for books to read, please message me. I get bored in the Batcave.
Thank you :)

Long Day
Just... just a long day. Long week. It’s long.
Fun Day
Alright so the internship is going pretty good but it was getting me a bit down since there was a string of homicides related to children being killed, which was pretty rough.
Do you guys remember Jason? the guy I met at the coffee shop and talked about the Hobbit and history stuff with?
Well we still get coffee and he noticed I was a bit off. I told him that it was work related and so he just says that the day was going to be a fun day.
Turns out Jason has a pretty kick ass motorcycle so he drove us to Atlantic City to chill on the boardwalk and get my mind off of work.
It was a really fun day and it was nice of him to do that.
We also got some pics on the beach and he told me to pose like I was about to drop a mixed tape.
(Jason let me borrow his jacket for the pic. It was HUGE on me since he’s a fairly big guy)
Anyway later that night after Jason brought me back I went to work and there were no homicides that night! Bossman thinks he has a lead, which is good.
Bossman has also been in a bit of a bad mood since this Red Hood guy who’s popped up is being pretty elusive to him. I want to ask him more about the guy but it seems like a sore subject so I don’t want to bring it up.
So all in all, it’s been a fun day. No homicides and the beach! Yay!

Summer Break
Wow so hello everyone. Happy to actually be able to write on here again.
So finals week was insane between mind numbing papers and tests combined with a string of homicides bossman had to investigate.
And right after finals week I had to get everything out of my dorm and into an apartment which will now be the place I’ll be calling home for the meantime.
It’s a nice place. Rent isn’t very high, the plumbing is decent, I can get wifi and I feel like an adult.
It took a while to move everything in by myself but I made do. I’ll be continuing on with this “internship” throughout the summer since I honestly have nothing better to do. Plus I get paid a little and it’s better than not knowing what to do.
I’m about to head out to the cave and I’ll write more later.

Happy Mother’s Day
I’ll be spending it listening to some of my Mom’s favorite music while I unpack all of my college stuff into a nearby apartment.

Just Another Day
Okay so maybe not entirely just another day.
I went to the coffee shop alone today since Steph said she needed to get some work done at home. I was just reading The Hobbit since I’ve heard good things and never seen the movie yet when this guy asked he could sit with me.
It was a strange interaction and I was hesitant at first because this guy looked like a bear but all was good. He said he was a bouncer at a night club, which made sense since he was all scarred up and muscle-y.
Anyway, we talked about the Hobbit and history, and I deduced from the name on his cup that his name was Jason.
So that was pretty cool. I may have just made a new friend.
Meanwhile the cave was as usual. Bossman was grumpy because some guy called Red Hood was back in town. The guy seems to get to Bossman on a personal level for some reason.
But aside from that all was good.

Back to the Swing of Things
Life decided to chill after being super hectic, which is nice.
Classes started up again which is a little meh because classes can be boring but it also means that I was able to meet up with Steph.
We grabbed some coffee together and she looked really tired and her arm was in a sling and her cheek was bruised.
I asked her what happened and she said that she was out for a moment during the riots and got hurt.
I’m just thankful she’s still alive. Luckily all my friends survived the riots but there’s been a lot of missing students and injured as well.
It was nice talking to Steph though and I was able to meet up with my friend Peggy who said that her parents made a bunker under their house in case of things like the riots happened so she was safe.
Peggy’s parents are smart. Any other place they would sound like paranoid people but in Gotham, I feel like it’s smart to have an underground bunker.
I’m happy that things are starting to get back to normal though. Work in the cave was pretty slow too since things seem to be winding down. Bossman was pretty grumpy though which I suppose I understand.
Luckily Nightwing kept me company so I wasn’t stuck with a moody Batman the entire night.
Hopefully things continue to look up.
