Giovanni hardly needs to use both hands to count the number of outsiders he’s invited to his home. And now that count has increased by one as he stands at the front door, a hand resting on the shoulder of a boy as he ushers him inside. Perhaps it would have better, easier even, if he’d simply bought another estate within the city or some place far more remote than this, but his home is his sanctuary and Giovanni can think of no better place to protect the child than by having him by his side.
“You have full run of the estate, if you’re hungry simply call for one of the servants and they’ll provide you with whatever it is you need.”
The tour is brief, there’s not much to show that the boy likely hasn’t already seen and he has a feeling he’d have a better time simply letting the child be better acquainted with his new home by himself. The dining room, the living room, the personal gym and the boy’s own room that’d been a guest room hastily converted for more long-term living. They come to a stop at the backyard that stretches into the Viridian Forest.
“Until you have a Pokémon of your own, then I’d advise against you entering the forest without an escort.” @batricide
