The Killer Robots Are Coming. The Battlefield Will Never Look the Same.
Ukraine is using unmanned ground vehicles armed with bombs, guns or rockets to carry out attacks and keep its soldiers out of harm’s way.
So there's that...
And then there's the whole villain plot.
When I saw those articles saying Lightyear was "a little bit Lost in Space" I assumed they meant the original show, not the 90's movie, but hey, I love all LiS at the end of the day, so I had a good time.

@make @Rafe 6 Life Lessons from Robot Combat
I’m usually not a big fan of life lessons learned by observing something totally unrelated, but I thought this article (makezine.com) was quite good, potentially helpful with some fun videos to help make the point.
In case you’re wondering, the six lessons are:
ALWAYS HAVE A WAY TO FLIP YOURSELF BACK OVER
CARRY SPARE PARTS, OR KNOW HOW TO MAKE THEM
SHAKE HANDS WHEN THE MATCH IS OVER
ADAPT
AN UNBALANCED WEAPON CAN HARM YOU MORE THAN YOUR OPPONENT
DON’T LOSE SIGHT OF THE WORLD WHILE FOCUSING ON AN OPPONENT
Maybe the rules are best for violent confrontations, but I thought they were well suited to life and dealing with the problems that come your way.
