Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Kip Sabian - AEW Battle of the Belt - 06.01.23

J'ai découvert Orange Cassidy à la Chikara à la fin des années 2000, à l'époque il luttait sous le masque de Fire Ant et je n'étais pas un grand fan de son alter-égo à lunettes. Ainsi j'ai été assez sceptique lorsque Tony Khan annoncé qu'il était "All Elite" et finalement il est devenu un des grands personnages de AEW et sans doute un des Babyfaces les plus adulés de la compagnie.

Son règne All-Atlantic (désormais International) est excellent, il a enchaîné d'excellentes défenses et celle contre Kip Sabian fait partie des meilleures. Face à un lutteur aussi over (et invincible) que Orange Cassidy c'était intéressant de faire utiliser la psychologie à l'anglais qui est décidément terriblement sous-coté.

Ainsi on a le droit à un Sabian qui ne rentre pas dans les nombreux jeux psychologiques de Cassidy et qui bien au contraire, lui fait perdre ses moyens en utilisant tout un tas de fourberies.

Sans doute le meilleur combat de ce Battle of the Belt !
