Had some free time the other day, so I decided to practice painting some of my Battletech minis. They're not done, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to show my progress. Keep in mind this is only my fourth time painting ANY minis, so I'm still learning how to do this.
They're not quite done yet. I still want to clean up some of the spots where I went over the lines I was aiming for. Then I want to give them a wash of watered-down black paint to make all those panels pop, paint in the cockpits, and add some white speckles to the blue parts to look like falling snow (If you can't tell, I'm going for a sort of Ghost Bear color scheme). It's a little ambitious, but I think I can do it. For those who don't know, the smaller one with the silly arms is a Fire Moth, and the big box-shaped one is a Warhawk. I'm really happy with both of them so far, and can't wait to finish them.
