(I usually respond to asks/fan mail privately, but I’m quite thrilled by anyone who appreciates both shoker and finger sporks. holy shit i was literally just arguing about this at this sexual harassment thing at my college. honestly it’s total bullshit like isn’t it the fact she’s a PERSON enough does every woman need to be held in relation to a man to give her importance???

wow its been on my mind a lot lately and i keep seeing that phrase used in junk. and i got an anon not too long ago (presumably from a dude) brushing it off. right?? if men saw women as human beings with a right to happiness, justice and respect... that phrase would be absolutely unnecessary. it's like a really poor attempt to get around misogyny by trying to poke and prod and squeeze a drop of compassion out of men. not only thAT but at it's best, the most that phrase can do is make men think of OTHER men's "mothers, daughters, sisters, wives"- not even the women themselves, but sympathizing with other men and their own attachments to the women in their families. like saying "she's somebody's daughter" is belittling in the sense that said person isnt a person or a woman, but she belongs to somebody (her father). how is that compassionate??? how is that not about ownership and respecting the ownership over other women before the woman herself?????? ???

I'm going to put my answers and asks under a read more, as to not clog everyone's dashes with this super long post. 

01. What’s on TV right now? Don’t try to tell me it isn’t on.

Some documentary on film music. Pretty interesting. :) 

02. Favorite class you’ve ever had/are having? (High school, college, extra curricular, anything) Oh whoa... In high school I enjoyed English the most, but if I really have to chose I think I loved having Visual Studies the most this year (it was my highest grade after all) and I really enjoyed art class as extracurricular yesteryear. I had to put that on hold because of college but hope to continue it some day.

03. TELL ME YOUR TOP FIVE PLATONIC/FRIENDSHIP PAIRINGS FROM EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING. OMFG ANNI. WHYYYYY THIS QUESTION? TOO MANY FAVOURITE BROTPS TO LIST!! Seriously I even brotp my otps... (I tend to otp characters with a great friendship the most, so I'm never bothered if they don't end up canon because I already love their friendship.)

But okay, I'll give it a try... Or at least a current top five? Since it changes constantly.

#1 ANY BROTP FROM THE TURTLES!  This includes April, Splinter and Casey ofc. But yes, I love all the friendships, from Donnie and Mickey to Raph and Spike to Leo and April to everyone and everyone. #2 Kurt Wagner and Kitty Pryde (X-Men, any incarnation) How can I have a brotp list without these two? It's simply impossible. One of the best friendships ever. They're always there for each other, through thick and thin. #3 Brot4 between Dick Grayson, Wally West, Artemis Crock and Zatanna Zatara. Yes, my headcanon includes that these four formed a little group of their own in The Team, and occasionally went out to goof off and go to the movies and carnival and all.  But I really love Kaldur and Dick's friendship too. The way Dick never questioned Kaldur's undercover, the way they trusted each other, it's so underrated in this fandom. #4 Jimmy Darmody and Richard Harrow (Boardwalk Empire) This brotp gives me too many feels. The way they got each other's back no matter what, the way they're willing to give their lives for each other. I just... *goes off to cry again* #5 The Breakfast Club Does this even need an explanation?

04. How do you get motivated? Well, actually, I don't get motivated. Lately if I have to do something, I just (try to at least) do it immediately. I used to be the worst procrastinator, but it actually feels so much better when it's done as quickly as possible. Otherwise it just causes too much stress and panic. This post explains how I feel on the matter well. I basically try to discipline myself more than waiting for the motivation. 

This doesn't apply to writing, though. I really ought to force myself to write fic more but everything I write I hate so then I quit... 

05. Any before bed rituals? Tell me them (oh god I’m so tired). The usual I guess? Brush my hair and teeth. Although, this is going to sound incredibly weird but if I have troubling catching sleep I usually watch whatever show is on TeenNick. It somehow helps me sleep better? Idek.

06. Favorite beverage? TEA. Seriously anything tea-related. When I'm in the mood for a hot beverage: tea, when in the mood for a cold beverage: ice tea (preferably lipton ice tea).

07. What is an action figure (already made or not yet made or never will be made) that you want? ARTEMIS CROCK! Or Buffy, since she'll forever be my fictional hero.

08. What are you reading? (Novel or fic) At the risk of sounding boring, I'm actually reading this history book of a course I'm going to have next year. To be prepared.

I'd love to read fic, I should read more fic again, but idk which one... If anyone has any TMNT, Young Justice or LOK fic recs, just drop me an ask please. :D Or any other fandom I like, but preferably one of those three.

09. What was your first internet name? (Was it as embarrassing as mine?) My very first internet name, which was only used on ff.net briefly, was Sweet Sugah. 

10. ~Fruit salad~~ Is this a question? I don't really like fruit salad? I like eating fruit, but separately. 

11. What’s your favorite fairy tale? From ANYWHERE. I've always liked Rumpelstiltskin the most.
