Batvember 2025

I wanted to share this art project I was working on putting together. For a few years Chris Samnee would organise Batober, a month long art challenge centred around Batman. I would take part in, but in an odd way, BatVEMBER. I did this in dedication to Kevin Conroy who was born November 30 1955. Chris Samnee has stopped doing Batober, which is fair enough, he’s busy. That being said, I would like to continue the tradition for myself AND invite other artists to take part, so this year I’m starting BATVEMBER, inspired by Chris Samnee. Here’s the prompt list. Batvember - Day 24 - Heavy

For heavy I wanted to draw Absolute Batman, since… yeah. That guys is heavy as hell. I based this off the main story in the Absolute Batman annual, because a giant Batman kicking the crap out of a bunch of r*cist assholes is cool. I hope you enjoy and stay safe. Bye!

Batvember - Day 5 - Brotherhood

For the theme of Brotherhood I thought it made the most sense to show the young men of the Batfamily. Maybe I’m taking brotherhood too literally, but it fit. These characters are all brothers, the fight, the joke, they care about each other. I hope you enjoy and stay safe. Bye!

Batvember - Day 29 - Cataclysm

Following the 7.6 category earthquake on Gotham City, the Batcave is left in ruins and Batman has to find a way to pull himself out of the rubble and bring Gotham City back from the cataclysm. This one was a lot of fun, getting to look at the Batcave, even if it is destroyed and drawing some of the iconic elements. I hope you enjoy and stay safe. Bye!

Batvember - Day 18 - Coat

I’ll admit… Thomas and Martha Wayne’s grave is more of the focus here than the coat, but once I got the idea for this I just kept going and overall I was happy with how this turned out. I hope you enjoy and stay safe. Bye!

Batvember - Day 30 - Honour

Ending off Batvember 2025 with a piece dedicated to the legend Kevin Conroy. What can be said that hasn’t already been said about Conroy? He is iconic. He is the definitive Batman for so many people. And he is still dearly missed to this day. I hope you enjoyed the month of BatVember and I hope you enjoy the art and stay safe. Bye!
