Who's your biggest jokester OC?

Probably Batwhisker! She’s a bit … lost … right now, but she’s very well known among the Clans for her mischief.

She enjoys jumping down from trees and startling others.

She enjoys flying sheep chases; she likes wording things in such a way that others are convinced the target is achievable, but really it’s a load of mouse droppings.

She also enjoys competitions.

DAISYNOSE: Oh, really, Batwhisker? You consider Firestar /acceptable/, /passable/, even, as leader, just because he makes your crush deputy? Talk about having conflict of interest!

Batwhisker: Woah, woah, woah, Great and Mighty Grumpy Face! Let’s back this patrol up back to camp!

Yeah I said Firestar isn’t a half bad Leader. But not for the reasons you assume.

First of all, he’s really good at, like, hearing cats out. He doesn’t go charging off after whoever did something wrong. He waits for them to prove their nature to him. Like Lostsight! He’s grouchy and doesn’t really like Firestar, but they’re both willing to work together for the sake of the Clan. I know some cats who would try to make Lostsight’s life a living nightmare just for not trying to like Firestar.

Plus, Firestar might be a silly former kittypet, but at least he’s trying to learn more about Clan ways. He accepted a Clan Name without question. He spent and still spends lots and lots of time with the Elders, as much as possible, learning about our history and traditions and all that lovely stuff. From the way he acts now, you couldn’t know for sure he was a former kittypet. You might just assume former loner instead!

And this is what I meant by mentioning him making Daffodilfur Deputy. He sees the good in everyone. Daffodilfur, he’s the kind of cat who just wants to help the Clan and do well for everyone. He was an amazing Mentor to Snowfur and they’re still super good friends now. He’s dedicated to hunting and fighting and helping to gather herbs and doing what the Clan needs simply because he’s available. But he never really gets noticed because he’s the kind of cat to stick to the shadows, to shy away from praise.

But Firestar notices the work he does. He notices how Daffodilfur does his best to get to know the whole Clan, and to be there for everyone, and to serve everyone. And he decided to reward Daffodilfur by making him Deputy.

Yes, I really like Daffodilfur. But I’m not so shallow that I accept a Leader just for making him Deputy. I can actually be pretty smart sometimes.

I just don’t always show it.

Ravenheart: So. Redclaw. Maplewhisker. Barleycloud. Batwhisker. Do you think some name-changes are worth more honor than others-- like Noeye or Threefoot compared to Cloudedeye or Tornear? Or are all name-changes worth the same respect? Or does this change for each clan? I suppose ThunderClan would give a 'participation' name-change to every kit that left the nursery with a nick in their ear....

Redclaw: Ravenheart. What a curious question you’ve brought. I would say all Name Change names are worth equal respect. After all, they all note that the cat in question survived something that would have killed a weaker cat. Their strength is to be commended.

Maplewhisker: Well. I mean, all cats who earn them – whether they take the Name Change or not – are worthy of great respect for surviving. Though I don’t get why cats are allowed to choose to take a Name Change name for having been born without a limb or what have you. They were born like that; they’re used to it. It’s not like they had to spend moons readjusting to their new abilities and senses and whatnot… But that’s never been my call to make. Shrikestar, on the other paw…

Barleycloud: Oh, hello Ravenheart. Are you all right? You seem very tense. Too much tenseness is bad for the body. Perhaps Asterpaw might be up for a scuffle to help you relax? Oh, but any way. All Name Change names deserve equal respect. That doesn’t mean that all Name Change names are equal in gravity. A Halfface who lost half their face in battle is worse off than a Notail who was born as such and claimed the name later. But that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve equal respect for being strong and capable of flourishing despite their difficulties. The same applies to all Clan cats, really; everyone has their own difficulties, I’d say. Just, some aren’t visible.

Batwhisker: Hello Ravenheart the Grouchy~! Hah, aren’t you a riot today?! Clearly you’ve never met me when I was a Kit! I used to run circles around Goldenflower and Lizardfang! Adderclaw and I kept rushing about and rough housing… Though Goldenflower kept trying to coddle us, we never let her! Oh, uh, your question! Uh, I think all Name Changes are, like, super cool. I personally live by the motto ‘give everyone the same respect, and no one can complain that you don’t respect them enough’! Like, I mouth off to just about everyone. Sure, I try to mouth off less with Cinderpelt ‘cause she helps me keep healthy, and I’d have to be an utter dirt-brain to try to mouth off to an angry Queen, but other than that, everyone gets the same old Batwhisker~! Murkpelt loves bantering with me! Ehe, being so useful is great! I think I scare Firestar a bit. Silly former kittypet, not fully used to Clan ways… But he’s not half bad a Leader. And, hey, he made Daffodilfur his Deputy after Whitecloud went missing, so I’m not complaining!

Heya there, Batwhisker here! Gee, where do I start?

Adderclaw is great. You know, I really admire how strong she is. She’s super great at defending the Clan if the situation demands it. She doesn’t speak too much, but what she does say matters, and that’s what matters!

Would I really send her after someone?

Well, truth be told, if anyone ever did anything to really deserve it, she’d probably be there before I even asked for her! She’s super loyal to her friends, and I’m lucky to be one of her friends.

Though for the record, I’d happily send her after anyone who dares hurt my sister Plumstripe. I might be an awful fighter, but no one hurts my sister and gets away with it!

Batwhisker

Heya there ~! I'm Batwhisker of ThunderClan. It's wonderful to meet you!

As you can probably guess from my name, I'm one of ThunderClan's best huntresses! I owe it all to my pelt: it's black, you see, so it's super easy for me to hunt at night. Most of ThunderClan is up early and late in the day, and then they sleep midday and through the night. I sleep on and off during the day, and I hunt through most of the night. I get such a thrill from it!

Oh, but I'm also pretty solid at climbing. I actually could've been Battail! But I chose Batwhisker.

My fighting skills? Let's not go there... I'm also not too hot at swimming -- ick, water! -- and I could be better with Kits even if I'm not atrocious with them... Oh, speaking of Kits, let's talk about my family!

Momma walks with StarClan. She ended up getting a fever when she was still weak from having a hard birth, so she died. My brother, Ternkit, also caught the fever and died from it. He's a Spirit Kit now.

My sister Plumstripe and I survived. The Medicine Cats say Plumstripe and I don't share a father, since I'm totally black (my eyes are amber) and she's totally ginger (her eyes are hazel, so pretty!) but she's my sister anyway and I love her. She's really shy, though, and bad with strangers. So be good to her! Or else I'll send Adderclaw after you!

Oh, speaking of, Adderclaw is one of my foster sisters. Her mother, Lizardfang, took in me and my sister after Gullstorm died. My other foster sister is Snakefur.

I don't have Kits, but I would love to have them one day! I'll probably need help though... Daffodilfur is super chill. I think he'd be a good dad figure, right?

Anyway, I'd better be off now! I'm starting to get tired; I was off hunting all night. Oh, but don't hesitate to ask me questions! But don't ask me stupid questions like 'what do you look like', since you already know, right?
