How easy is it to create the core D&D races using this picrew? Let's discuss!

Human (4 star)

As with the vast majority of picrews, making humans with this creator is a breeze. It has rounded ears, a great range of human skintones, the standard eye colours (brown, blue, green or grey) and hairstyles which represent several different hair types. No facial hair options is a small downside.

Halfling (4 star)

Given that halflings physically resemble humans but smaller, all of the above also applies here. It's a head-and shoulders only picrew so height is irrelevant.

Elf (4 star)

Elves benefit from the same range of skintones, hair and eye options as humans, as well as a variety of unnatural colour picks suitable for most elven subraces (such as grey/purple skin, red eyes and white hair for drow). Pupils are optional, which is handy for subraces like shadar-kai and pallid elves who are often portrayed without them. Most importantly there are 3 pointed ear choices (one small, one very large and one large and outward pointing)

Half-Elf (4 star)

Half-Elves benefit from all the same options as elves and humans. However, if your character's non-elven half is something other than human, this picrew's fang, tusk and horn options may be useful.

Gnome (3 star)

Gnomes are typically portrayed as slightly bigger halflings but with pointed ears and oversized features (especially noses), so they benefit from all the same features as half elves. However, the inability to resize features in this picrew makes it hard to portray the giant nose that is their main distinguishing feature.

Dwarf (1 star)

Dwarves are characterised by their broad, stocky builds and prominent facial hair, neither of which are features of this picrew. The only facial hair option is some light chin stubble and the one body type is slim and narrow-shouldered. You can cheat it a little bit and make an OK-looking dwarf by choosing a wide face shape and making the facial hair black so that it blends in with the shadow underneath. However it's far from optimal.

Half-Orc (2 star)

Like dwarves, half-orcs have a distinct body type not available here. There is an option for tusks (the half-orc's other distinguishing feature) but just the one and it is a little dainty for my liking. This picrew does have a decent range of skintones suitable for half-orcs though including green (which, much like the drow's iconic purple skin, is not part of their official 5e description but is so common in fanworks that it might as well be canon at this point), grey and various shades of brown.

Tiefling (4 star)

Tieflings are characterised primarily by their horns, of which there are several types to choose from in this picrew. The variety of skintones available here should be enough to satisfy both purists who stick to their canon description (skintones within the normal human range plus shades of red) and people who like to create tieflings in all colours of the rainbow.

Dragonborn (1 star)

Somewhat inevitably, given dragonborn are so vastly different to the other races, there isn't anything for them here. I may remove them altogether from future race breakdowns as their features are specific enough that they're unlikely to show up in any picrews not specifically designed for draconic or reptilian creatures.

Conclusion

This picrew is a great choice for making humans or halflings, elves or half elves (particularly those with especially long ears!) and a fantastic option for tieflings. Colour options include multiple shades of purple and grey handy for residents of the Underdark, as well as a solid range of natural skintones.
