Baz @ Penny: Bunce, I’ve been plotting.

*Later that day*

Penny @ Simon: Simon, I swear, Baz is plotting something.

Baz, Dev, Niall, Agatha: suprise!

You know how at the beginning of Carry On, Simon is avoiding confronting Agatha about seeing her holding hands with Baz in the Wavering Woods?

And way later we find out they were holding hands because she’d just seen Baz in Vampire Mode and he was imploring her not to tell his secret?

That means that the whole time Baz is missing, really the whole first half of the book, Agatha is casually sitting on the information that she has seen with her own eyes that Baz is a vampire.

And Agatha never tells anyone.

She never tells Simon he was right all along. She never tells him or Penny the reason she and Baz were holding hands. Even when she can tell that Simon is bothered and Penny is impatient about it.

Maybe Agatha is a little silly for imagining herself in love with Baz, and maybe she does just wants to have fun with her friends instead of helping them figure out What Is Going On all the time, but Agatha keeps Baz’s secret – even from her best/only Watford friends – because he asked her not to tell.

And so she doesn’t. 

Basically, Agatha is pretty great, if you ask me.
